How to make Organic Chicken Shawarma.!

Organic chicken shawarma is one of the most popular street food. Almost every person eats it once or twice a week. organic chicken shawarma has its distinctive, delicious taste, which compels spicy food lovers to eat it. Though its a street food, but you can make it at your home following our recipe and serve it to make your day.


⦁ Organic Boneless chicken ( chest or thigh) – 1 kg

⦁ Black pepper powder – one teaspoon

⦁ Turmeric – half a tablespoon

⦁ Red chilli powder – half a teaspoon

⦁ Cumin powder – one tablespoon

⦁ Lemon juice – one tablespoon

⦁ Sumac – one tablespoon

⦁ Garlic (chopped)- one tablespoon

⦁ Coriander (crushed) – one teaspoon

⦁ Olive oil – one-quarter of a tablespoon

⦁ Cinnamon powder – half a teaspoon

⦁ Salt yo your taste

   For Tahini Sauce 

⦁ Yoghurt – 1 cup

⦁ Tahini paste – 2 tablespoons

⦁ Black pepper – half a teaspoon

⦁ Red chilli powder – half a teaspoon

⦁ Garlic clove – one tablespoon

⦁ Lemon juice – one tablespoon

⦁ Sumac – half a teaspoon

⦁ Salt – as you desire



⦁ Take 1 kg of boneless organic chicken( (breast or thigh, according to your choice), cut into strips, and put in a bowl.

⦁ Add one teaspoon of black pepper, red chilli powder(about half a teaspoon), cumin powder (one teaspoon), one teaspoon of lemon juice, half a tablespoon of turmeric, garlic powder (one teaspoon), salt to your taste, half a teaspoon of cinnamon, one tablespoon of sumac and one-quarter teaspoon of olive oil.

⦁ Mix, cover, and let it marinate for 1 hour.

   Tahini sauce

⦁ Take 1 cup of yoghurt in a bowl.

⦁ Add two teaspoons of tahini paste, one tablespoon of chopped garlic cloves, half a teaspoon of black pepper, one tablespoon of lemon juice, half a teaspoon of red chilli powder, half a tablespoon of sumac and salt (as you desire).

⦁ Mix the ingredients well.

⦁ You can add 1-2 tablespoons of milk to make your sauce thin.

⦁ Your special tahini sauce is now ready.


⦁ Take a pan and add the marinated organic chicken to it. Cover it and cook on a moderate flame for 10-12 minutes (until it is done).

⦁ After that, saute on high flame for five minutes or until its edges change colour to a golden brown. Turn the flame off.

⦁ Now take pita bread and add organic chicken pieces to it. Add some sliced vegetables such as cucumber, lettuce, onion, etc. ( you can choose according to your taste).

⦁ Now add tahini sauce according to your taste and roll the bread.

⦁ Your organic chicken shawarma is now ready.
